You are unbelievably
talented! I can't get over your ability to capture an animal's
expression. I was beyond shocked, grateful and yes went
into the ugly cry when I finally laid eyes on the portrait!
12 years ago Annie was a gift from my dad. Dad placed a tiny 6 week old chocolate
puppy on my pillow in the middle of the night. The only time we have been a
part is when I travel. She comes to work with me everyday, she is a wonderfully
fun companion, and we share a great bond.
This portrait is particularly timely and special to me because I have gone
through the process of excepting that at 12 years old, realistically Annie's
fate will come all to soon. I make certain that everyday is a great day, and
the two of us live it like it could be her last. She is the first to get a
good morning and the last to get a good night, she licks my plate after every
meal, and basically runs our home.
Annie's portrait is timeless and I thank you for that. When I look at it, I
don't see a young or an ageing dog, she is ageless, her bright eyes and fun
spirit are the focal point. You have captured Annie's essence and how I always
want to see her.
Thank you.
