" Jozef has painted four commissioned portraits honouring cultural icons of the Estonian community.

As the chairwoman of the Tartu College Art Committee it has been my pleasure to commission Jozef to undertake this work.

He has worked effectively with the living subjects, conducting interviews and
collecting materials as well as being able to work from archival materials to prepare portraits of historic figures in this community.

His work has captured the essence of the individual and reminded the viewers of their contribution to our society."
